Conferring of the Dr. Kapp Exemplary Award
On June 27, 2023, the Dr. Kapp Exemplary Award was conferred in the Kaisersaal at Kloster Banz. With the message “Voluntary work is the bond of our society” a total of 35 trainees from Upper Franconian bayme member companies received the award for their voluntary activities from Matthias Kapp, Managing Director of the KAPP NILES group of companies, Patrick Püttner, Managing Director of the bayme Upper Franconia office and Heidrun Piwernetz, District President of Upper Franconia.
For the 19th time young people from all Upper Franconian companies in the metal and electrical industry that that are members of the bayme business association were able to apply for the Dr. Kapp Exemplary Award 2023. The winners were selected by a jury, which included training managers from Upper Franconian companies. Prize money totaling 10,000 euros was distributed.
Our trainees Lukas Bauer and Phil Öckler received a category three award for their commitment to the fire departments in their home communities. Lukas Martin, active at the model railway friends Rödental and supervisor of the youth group there, also received an honor in category three. Jerome Morgenroth was honored with the category two for his work as a lifeguard and paramedic at the water rescue and the BRK Coburg.
We are proud of the honorary positions of our trainees and wish them a lot of fun in the future!
