Option: TAURUS Gemini with pallet system
The pallet system option allows you to set up in parallel to machining time. The intelligent chip conveyor concept makes it possible to clean the workpiece while machining is in progress This saves time, money and increases productivity.
The TAURUS Gemini can be integrated into your existing machinery via the pallet system and contributes to process reliability. A pallet changer with double carrier or an AGV (automated guided vehicle) are available.

With the TAURUS Gemini you invest in a machine concept that flexibly combines several machine types in just one system.
Roughing operations are possible with a power of up to 63 kW (S6) at up to 1.500 Nm (S6). For fine machining, spindle speeds of up to 30.000 min‑1 and high machine dynamics are available.
All this without compromising on stability, accuracy and availability.

Hydrostatic guideways
Simply cleverly done: all the advantages of hydrostatic guides, such as accuracy and milling behavior, are used and the energy balance is improved.
The excellent damping properties of the hydrostatics support the machining process, and the guides are highly accurate and wear-free. The temperature of the hydrostatic oil is tracked to the room temperature. This maintains the high machine accuracy even with changing ambient temperatures. Separate energy-consuming temperature control equipment can be eliminated. The machine remains consistently accurate even in an adverse environment.
Controls
According to requirements, TAURUS can be delivered with either a Heidenhain or Siemens control.
Thereby you can operate TAURUS using your familiar control systems.
With the UMATI interface you can connect your machine to many other systems. Mindsphere from Siemens, Connected Machining from Heidenhain or our InPro will help you to improve your processes and manage your machinery.
The TAURUS Gemini complies with all common standards of modern manufacturing.

Because of the large display and the manufacturer’s original keyboard, operating TAURUS is a pleasure.
The whole control station can be swiveled and the angle of the keyboard can be adjusted.
With the optionally available video camera or InPro productivity package, a separate tablet and docking station with additional functions is also included for the operator’s use.
